Behind the Scenes
Step past the public exhibits and into the working spaces of our biologists. See life-support systems, quarantine tanks, and the coral nursery, and meet the people who care for 3,000+ animals every day.
Tours are 60 minutes, limited to small groups, and include access not available to general admission visitors.

Aquarium Camp
A week of ocean discovery for keiki, snorkeling, tide pooling, marine art, behind-the-scenes access and visits from research scientists. Multiple sessions June–August by age group.
Member registration opens first. Full scholarships available.

Sea Hunt
A community reef-survey program where volunteers help our scientists track invertebrate and fish populations on Oʻahu's south shore. Free training provided, no diving experience needed.

NOAA Deep-Sea Series
Free monthly public talks with NOAA scientists exploring the deep waters of the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument and beyond. Held in the Aquarium classroom, open to all.
