The Aquarium hosts more than 20,000 students each year through guided field trips, in-class programs and teacher workshops.

Trained docents lead grade-appropriate tours connecting Hawaiian marine life to NGSS performance expectations and Nā Hopena Aʻo.

Programs available for grades K–12. Reserve at least 4 weeks in advance.

Lead your own group with our pre-visit teacher packet, exhibit scavenger hunts and student worksheets, all free to download.

Discounted school admission rates apply for Hawaiʻi public, charter and private schools.

We offer professional-development workshops throughout the school year on topics including coral reefs, native Hawaiian species, climate change and the science of aquaculture.
