The rules that govern use of our website, ticket purchases and visits to the Aquarium.
Agreement to these terms
By accessing waikikiaquarium.org or purchasing tickets, memberships, or other products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or our services.
Purchases and refunds
- Tickets are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.
- Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- The Aquarium reserves the right to refuse admission or remove visitors who behave in a way that endangers the animals, staff, or other guests.
- Lost or damaged membership cards may be replaced for a small fee.
Photography & conduct
Personal photography is welcome. Commercial photography or filming requires advance approval — see the Media page. Drones, tripods over 6 feet, and selfie sticks are not permitted.
Tapping on tank glass, feeding the animals, and entering off-limits areas are strictly prohibited. Service animals are welcome; pets are not.
Intellectual property
All text, images, logos, and other content on this site are the property of the Waikīkī Aquarium or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may share links to our pages, but reproducing content for commercial use requires written permission.

The Waikīkī Aquarium provides this site and its content on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. We are a program of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, and certain liability protections of the State of Hawaiʻi apply.
