The Aquarium aims to inspire and promote understanding, appreciation, and conservation of Pacific marine life, and more than 200 wonderful volunteers help make that mission a reality.

Get started

Basic requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old (exceptions: Teen Programs, Beach & Algae Clean-Ups).
  • Complete the required online Volunteer Application.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
  • Provide a TB clearance.
  • Meet in-person with Volunteer Program staff.
  • Be able to commit at least 3–6 months to most programs.
